Cheryl holds the Post graduate certificate of Higher Education (PGCHE) teaching qualification and taught for seven years on the Acupuncture degree course at Leeds Beckett University.
She also trains Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors in Dry Needling and Acupuncture and has previously taught shortened Foundation courses for these professionals at NESCOT in Surrey and Leeds Beckett .University. She has also taught short CPD courses for Physiotherapists and Manual Therapists in Women’s Health and Pregnancy Acupuncture for Physio UK and for the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). She has also been a guest speaker at their conference in 2018 and had an article published in their Journal, Acupuncture in Physiotherapy, in Spring 2019.

Practical approach to treating pregnant patients.
The day provided great revision of less well used acupuncture points, info on acupressure for patients and treating morning sickness and cervical ripening alongside the appropriate evidence base. I enjoyed the references to TCM as this area is of great interest to me and the points more heavily related to TCM that I use are generally successful in my own practice.
Despite having read the course objectives I didn't expect to cover so much!
